ROTARY & COMMUNITY EVENTS:

7/11/09: “High Strung” Bluegrass Concert / Benefit for Loverde Family Community Fund and Lazarus Caucus. Concert begins at 2:00 pm, directly across the street from Café on the Grove, at the Rice Auditorium. Admission is FREE. Donations to benefit the Westside Homeless Shelter will be accepted.

10/10/09 – Rotary Leafership Institute – Frederick MD. This is a series of three day-long workshops in building leadership skills. All three parts, plus a Graduate course, are being offered simultaneously on October 10, 2009, in Frederick, MD. The skills taught are applicable to leadership positions with volunteer-based non-profit organizations, not necessarily limited to Rotary Clubs. The cost is $95 for a one-day session, and the Club would be happy to share the cost with anyone who wants to participate. 8/7/09: Assoc. of US Army Saluting our Soldiers” Golf Tournament; Fort Meade, Maryland; $400 foursome pairs two golfers with two Army Warriors. Sponsorships Available. More Info: Matt Hausser 410-519-6000 or 410-905-6393.
